Panera Bread

Very nice, clean food. Today I went for a breakfast sandwich, my favorite has spinach, avocado, egg whites, cheese on a sprouted grain bagel. Delicious! Quiet atmosphere, many students can be seen studying, and nobody gets shooed out. Another favorite is when you get to combine two halves (1/2 sandwich, 1/2 salad, 1 cup of soup) in any combination, which is a good bargain. Join an affinity card and get bonuses. Today I received $2.00 off my breakfast sandwich.

I feel like this review is long overdue. Although I love the food, the customer service and management is terrible. Been going to this particular location for years, and they always seem to either mess my order up, or have a very unfriendly attitude. Last week when I went to go get lunch, I first ordered a coffee to do some homework, and had planned on going back for food after. I ordered a large iced coffee with 2 pumps of vanilla, and I had no problem if they charged extra, I even expected it, (that's what every place does). I ordered, paid, and walked over to the counter where they place the food. When the cook gave me my coffee, he yelled at me and told me next time I had to pay for the extra vanilla shots, per manager. I mean if they really wanted me to, I could've cashed myself out and charged myself for the extra vanilla pumps. About an hour later I went back up to order food for myself, and my aunt. When I placed the CORRECT order, the worker read it back to me, and it was completely wrong. I was nice about it and told her which menu items I actually wanted, she was rude about it and acted like I was stupid. Overall, I've always liked the food, but they need to hire competent workers.

A normal Panera bread. If you've been to a Panera bread, then it will be up to your expectations. It's a medium sized place where you order at the counter and then wait for your food at another counter. Everything seems fresh and preservative free. I really like Panera breads in general.
