Pete's Place Brownstown

Love Pete's Place. Both of them. Brownstown & Taylor. Lots of different things to choose from on their menu. Friendly waitstaff. Food arrives in a reasonable amount of time. BEST French Fries! Biggest chef's salad I've ever seen. Great value for your money. Been going to Pete's for over 11 years! And will continue to visit.

Had 2 fish and chips dinners. $27 Dinner comes with soup, salad or coleslaw and garlic Texas toast. Was a lot of food and very good. Service was slow but we weren't in a hurry.

Stopped in for breakfast today and was blown away! The country skillet was more than I expected. FRESH cut home fries, layered with all the fixings, bacon, sausage, Dearborn brand ham sliced an diced with veggies, carefully smothered with cheddar and topped with 2 eggs. I couldn't pass on their homemade gravy to top it all! My friend, luckily ordered their Eggs Benedict, which is only served on weekends, but with that flavor, you know, was made with love and careful discretion. The service was friendly and welcoming; made us feel like we were more than just guests. Hands down our new go to for our morning fuel!
I have previously been a lunch/dinner patron. Most sandwiches served with homemade chips, ACTUAL homemade chips and they are enough to warrant a visit alone. Take a dip of theirs in the house made Ranch dressing...no words. I personally pair my sandwich with a cup of the loaded baked potato soup(cheddar, sour cream and chives) oh my!!! You WILL not be disappointed.

Great food, great service. This place is slowly becoming my new breakfast spot. Tried the chicken and waffles last time and, it was awesome! Honestly everything I have had from here as been great. I would recommend everyone to try here,if you aren't sure about dinner, go for breakfast. You won't be upset, their coffee and tea is awesome also. Kudos to the chef!
