Local North Taphouse & Grill

Best locally owned Grill in town in my opinion. My oldest son took me to diner for my Birthday. We had a lot of fun, the food was delicious, fresh, tastefully seasoned and not overbearing, the look was clean and portioned perfectly. There was a couple of hiccups but the wait staff was all over it to fix it. For a new restaurant, they have their stuff together, Marvin is doing a phenomenal job making this place run like clockwork. Gordon Ramsey would give this place a thumbs up. Go Visit and taste how good this place is you will be delighted.

Nice decor, but not intimate enough. Too many windows! Nice booths, great high top tables. Server was great. We stopped in for drinks only, and they didn’t disappoint, the drinks were well made. TVs are spaced out throughout the restaurant, so it’s easy to view a game. The bar area is elegant and is the focal point!
We will definitely be back… here’s an idea, the neighborhood will support you( as we did the old 4 friends) but you need to reach out with coupons, or
Neighborhood specials… a lot of us will walk up to support you!

Positives: We did enjoy the food, and the staff was friendly and made things right.

New restaurant that needs to find its identity. I was expecting a "local bar" feel. The restaurant had more of a date-night / coney island feel to it. The menu is pretty limited and the prices were higher than I expected.

The service was slow and the food took a long time (about an hour for 3 burgers). The pulled pork fries appetizer came out cold, but they quickly made a new dish which was hot. In the end we enjoyed the meals.

We do plan on going back again to try their happy hour menu. We don't plan on going back for a full meal.

We came in for the soft opening and loved the unique options on the menu. Purple potatoes blew my mind lol Loved the food! Loved the staff! Loved the atmosphere! Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu... calamari was amazing and my husband loves the Mac n cheese burger! Excited to see what's next ☺️
