Tony Sacco's pizza is a good place to enjoy a quick bite.
The atmosphere is really cool, nice decor, very nice service.
Katy is very attentive, she's kept on checking if we needed refills or anything.
The pizza crust is really thin, maybe because I ordered a large and it was stretched over, or if that is their crust; however, it was easy to eat with one hand because it doesn't bend. I could eat it without making a mess ????
Good taste, good selection and good prices.
I'd definitely will dine there again.
This place was pretty empty on a Tuesday afternoon, so that was a nice surprise that there wasn’t a wait. The inside is a little dark but the design is gorgeous. It looks like a bar/grill.
We ordered the holey moley pinwheels to start and a boss pie. There was a special going on for a free large pepperoni pizza so we got that as well, as the boss pie was said to be spicy.
The pinwheels were pretty much the pizza dough with cheese and pepperoni rolled in them and a side of sauce. This is good if you have kids in the group.
The pizza was pretty good but not the best I’ve ever had. The larges were huge and the crust is thin with a slight crisp - sort of NY style where you can fold it but it has that slight crisp of that coal oven. The sauce on the boss pie was pretty spicy, but not the flavorful kind, it just added heat. There wasn’t too much cheese and the toppings worked together, I just wish I put some veggies on it for variety. The pepperoni pizza had a sweeter thin layer of sauce.
Overall this place is nice to come to for a pizza celebration, or even to watch the game as there’s some TVs. The one thing I did notice was a lack of soft drink variety, just Coca Cola products.
They were great tonight! They have options you can't find other places, including roasted versions of some of the veggies. When one of their special mixes included something I can't eat, they remade my pizza and reworked it so I didn't miss out on the flavors but could eat it without my allergen. Our waiter, Owen, was awesome about it and kept me in the loop while I waited for my remake. Definitely go, and if it's Thurday they have half off on larges!
The crust was decent but I thought was a little to thin. The sauce was a little to dry and I really don't like sweet sauce. They put the basil on our margarita at the end which I'm not a big fan of. I like that sauce, basil and olive oil infused taste out of the oven. I don't think they even put olive oil on top. I've had plenty of coal-fired in NYC and this is at the bottom. The perimeter of the crust was the best part for me. I will not be driving 85miles again.
