Dearborn Meat Market

Really wanted to come to this place as I saw the reviews whilst in Melbourne. Went there with a friend 15 minutes before advertised closing time and it was already closed. Went there second time several days later by my self. Loved the concept, loved the food and would love to give this place a 5 star, but...as I was on my own, they wouldn't sit me in the main area. Instead they sat me at the front where you place your order and/or buy meat. So I sat there on a stool facing the wall trying to enjoy my meal while getting bumped several times by other customers. Not good. Ended up just wanting to finish my meal and get out.

Best place in Metro Detroit for grilled meats. Always feel like family when I’m there. This place is number one on my recommendation list when people visit Dearborn.

In my 21 years of life I can honestly say this is the best food that I have ever eaten. Probably the freshest food you will ever have in your life, hard working staff, and overall an amazing expierence. If I could give 10 stars I would! Absolutely amazing!

I had my sights on this place after it was introduced in a Eater video. The place to dine in is small, but if you have the chance, do it. It is a legit halal butcher shop. You order the cuts of meat, already in sticks. Then in the back, they have an ongoing charcoal fire to cook the meat. They also have onion, tomato, and peppers. Overall a great experience and would visit them again when I am in town.
