    World class sailboat racing club. Wide array of racing programs and events for ages. Training on Ultimate 20's, Junior 420's, Optimist dinghies and more. Hitch hiker Thursdays allow new sailors to race on larger boats to gain experience for big events like the Bayview One Design and Port Huron to Mackinac Races. Prospective members are encouraged to come sail in Adult Learn to Sail classes and crew on a variety of boats.

    Today our family spread ashes on the Detroit River for a Detroit Firefighter Retired Gary and his Dog Pewee. His best friend Jill was terribly seasick and my Husband Jeff parked at the Seaviews fuel dock and went inside to see if we could leave our friend there and drive and get her in an hour or so.

    Seaview is a private Yacht Club and we were asked if we knew any member. We explained the situation and we think maybe a manager took Jill into a room and she laid down on a couch. Even a nurse was asked to check on her at the club.

    Jill and our entire family Thankyou for your kindness! Your facility and staffs compassion was one of the kindest acts we’ve experienced. It’s true people on the water are always the best.

    In this crazy world we live in we wanted to thank everyone who helped our family during this time.

    Best club in the region for sailboat racers. Hosting many regattas including BOD and Port Huron Macinac race. Great Fall Alumni regatta on fleet of club owned U20s. Bar food is excellent as is the service. Beautiful riverfront view.
    Still remember many years ago Captaining Renegade a SC70 that berthed at BYC the end of summer. Squeezed her deep keel over the entrance sandbar. Deep harbor for Lake St. Clair. Hoists for dry sailing one design racers.
    Fantastic high calibre group of racers. Now if only we could get you guys out for the 50+ fleets of Laser Masters racing that is on a real comeback...pull out those hiking benches and bikes ( think thigh muscles) and Lasers hanging in your garages...

    My nephew and his wife got married here. The ceremony was beautiful, and the scenery was gorgeous! You have to watch your phone service because some guests were connecting to towers in Canada. I didn't have any problem with my phone service. Beautiful place
