Was a great restaurant, nice food and good prices also the staff was real professional. I wonder did they reopen somewhere else

Delicious food except the macaroni needs approving. Staff is very friendly. Average price for soul food these days. The most important part is the Peach Cobbler, it was good!

i loved it!! the meatloaf an yams slapped.. the mac was good although it could have been cheesier:-) and they forgot to give me a dessert i PAID for :-(

This place is awesome! They play soul music and serve super good Southern dishes! I had the meat loaf with collard greens and black eyed peas. The meat loaf has the perfect brown gravy on it, but they also offer pork chops and other meats too. Great place to check out in the D. I am very satisfied.

Their food is about as close to southern home cooking as you can get! Prepared just like grandma use to make, but it could use a little more seasonings while preparing and the fried chicken tastes better the next day after the seasonings sink in, but other than that I like Big Mama's and eat there often....
