    Awesome service and Awesome food. This hidden gem is is placed around plenty of parking. There is no reason not to try this place. I had the Ney York strip steak and it did not disappoint. Priced to sell without breaking the bank. Every plate I saw the staff bring out looked very delicious. Excited to venture back and try other things on the menu.

    Wow. Can’t say enough good things about our experience here last night. First and foremost, our server was Glenn, the absolute best server we’ve had in a long time anywhere. He was so very friendly and personable . This was our anniversary dinner on our out of town trip, and we wound up here late for dinner sort of as a last resort and we are so glad we did. Dinner was so so delicious. We Couldn’t stop raving about it all night. We will come back to eat here for sure!!! Wanted to
    Tell the owner before we left but didn’t get a chance to. Hope he sees this and knows that he has a great place. Great job guys.

    First time into Downtown Louie's! It is absolutely beautiful inside! The staff is very kind! Glen is a terrific waiter! Great service. The steak tips so delicious! I had the Michigan Cherry salad which was great for two! Burger & fries probably the very best in the city! Well worth the money! Limited menu, but enough to find something!

    I have eaten here at least 20 times since moving to Detroit. The chef at this place puts some serious love into their recipes.
    I recently had some pesto gnocchi that brought literal TEARS to my eyes.
    I've got one word for this place...Magical. bravo.

    Love this place. Their menu is small. But they have best food ever. Everything on the menu is good! Even the sided are so good and flavorful. In my opinion this is a rare experience. So cherish it with this place. The environment is nice and relaxing as well. Good selection of drinks as well. I enjoyed a nice glass of white wine and the fried fish with squash and sauteed potatoes (they tasted like they were sauteed in bacon grease for flavor). The person I was with had the NY Strip Steak and the same sides and a beer. OMG it was all tasty.
