Incredible food & Great service! The timing of each course was perfect. Often at tasting dinners, we feel either rushed or the complete opposite, where we wait what seems like forever between courses. This was just right. The execution of each dish was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Take a bow Sandy and Doug! You have another restaurant that is spot on FAB! We have dined twice at Freya - and the experience was nothing short of sensational! The attention to detail from the birthday card, champagne to start the evening to the parting gift of a loaf of ridiculously amazing bread and everything in between. The decor is minimalist chic. The waitstaff attentive and every person who waited on us was sweet and knowledgeable about every dish. Doug has a knack of integrating textures with mind-blowing flavors. Fairly priced exquisite experiential dining! Just go!

Hands down one of the best dining experiences in Detroit. The decor is a nice combination of minimalist industrial without feeling cold. Also have to comment on the ability to choose a record to play (I was tickled when my album came on!). The food was incredible and perfectly portioned and paced. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back!!

Came here for a vegan feast for my birthday! Best service I have had at a restaurant in.... forever?? Every server was so on top of their game. They even had a card on the table for my bday, signed by the staff, and we were served celebratory champagne. The vibe, the music, the open kitchen with very attractive chefs... highly recommend for a nice night out!

We've been enjoying the soft open experience and have been delighted to see the bar raised in Detroit fine dining and hospitality. The tasting menu is fresh, inventive and responsive to the season. Wines are expertly paired to complement the food and elevate both.
