Incredible. Service (thank you, Brooke!), food, quality of ingredients - all exceptional. Homemade pasta with loads of clams, gnocchi to die for, some magical artichoke dish that I’ll crave forever. Delicious. I will definitely go back.

The eggplant parmesan was perfect. I wish others on the west coast could emulate what I just had. It looks that if I want great eggplant, Detroit is where one should visit. The server could be not be any more better. Highly recommend.

Food was good, service was nice. However, had reservations for 730pm, arrived at 715pm and waited until 835pm to get seated. Massively overbooked last night causing 60-90 minute delays from when your reservation was set. Noticed some patrons left dissapointed when hearing the wait time. I would suggest visiting during the week or maybe for lunch if you wish to go. Food is amazing so it still was worth the wait.

Great atmosphere! Wonderful wait staff. Everything about Giovanni's is 5 star. Make your reservation , use valet and enjoy the romantic lighting.
