Lape Soul Food

This is my favorite soul food takeout restaurant in the city of Detroit. The people who service you are pleasant. The food is delicious no matter what you order. The portions are a gracious amount. The wait is never too long.

The greens were salty as hell! I couldn't eat them. I called to inform them and they put me on hold and never came back to the line. Then I waited just encase they where busy. When I called back, she didn't answer. That was so very rude and disrespectful to treat a loyal and previously happy customer in this manner. I'm very disappointed. ☹

Although the food is very good they lack in customer service when you can through to call in an order they are usually pretty rude after they get your order they just hang up on you. Also no one wears gloves or hair nets, when the young guys are at the window the” weed/pot” greets you they are never personable when taking your order nor are you ever thanked or even wished a good day, all these things impact your business

Average soul food spot. They have a lot of sides to offer and the food is not bad. The turkey chops are really good when they are straight out of the grease. I say they are worth checking out.

Today me and my wife decided to eat at this amazing soul food eatery. With it being our first time , we agree that it was amazing. Thank you for these great dishes.
