Home cooked meals lots of flavor and large portions
They were so very accommodating ????
Had a taste for salad the salad was good but it was mostly lettuce they need to put more of the other toppings it would have been perfect the wait wasn't long and the prices were very reasonable it was okay
By far the best Coney Island in the metro area. It is the service that I love and keeps me coming back. I have been coming here for over 20 years. This is my childhood C.I. and return back after 14 years away then moved to the east side, but I still come here. My mother's order for what ever she want is just say it's for Kim, and the cashier says, ok which daughter is coming? I was done the 1st she said that. But when you know your community, you know them all. They are a staple in the community who are loyal to them. I purposely didn't say customers because it's the community patronize this business. The food is fantastic as well. You can't go wrong in here. Quality has always been there.
Once again, special shout to my wonderful lady for introducing me to what on the surface sounds completely absurd but turns out to be the most fulfilling and hearty meal I have had in ages. Warning: This is something to take lightly. This will put you to bed!
So on Valentine's Day, I was told to call up to Legends and order The Legend. The representative took in a breath when I told her that I was ordering two of them. She replied should have told me what I was getting myself into. "You trying to go sleep? This early?"
So the Legend omelette is literally the pinnacle of breakfast means. The omelette is prepared with everything in it. Bacon, sausage, ham, green peppers, mushrooms, cheese, onions, and anything else you can fit when you fold the egg over. It is hefty. It comes with a side of hash browns and toast but what makes it "The Legend" is the fact that all of this is covered with chili and cheese. (Ours was with squeeze cheese.)
Before you judge it, listen to me. I had the same thought you did. I thought she was trying to kill me. Mind you, I was on the diet and I'm listening to her describe it going... this is the cheat meal for the month.
I got to pick it from two lovely ladies working the counter and the chef in at the grill that smiled confidently when retrieved this two heavy plates of food. The total came out to be $30 something all together. I get back and open up the container to see nothing but chili and cheese like in the picture. Intimidated, I took to the first bite and slipped into bliss.
It is something about the chaos of The Legend that makes it all come together to create something truly special and one of a kind. If you ever come here and want a breakfast meal that you won't forget, I implore to give this try. I can't recommend it enough. I would go back to have it again but I can only have it once every few months, lol.
Worth every cent spent.
