One of my favorite places to eat in downtown Detroit. Beautiful location & classy ambience. The food, drinks and service have always been excellent. A great spot to take visitors from out of town as well.
Really nice vibes and good cocktails! Have heard nothing but good things about Lumen and finally went and checked it out. The food was delicious and so were our cocktails can’t wait to go back in the summer when the windows are open and downtown is hopefully getting busy again. Prices were reasonable as well.
Absolutely loved this place!!!! I took moms for Mother’s Day and she loved the food and the ambiance of the restaurant! However our server Marvin was definitely the highlight of her experience and also mine because he made everything perfect! We even watched this guy work with other tables and was just amazed at how he was so personable and graceful! I would recommend you go there and if you do ask for Marvin he makes the experience even better!! Love this place thanks for taking care of mom!!
The calamari was amazing! The lumen burger was just as good! I ordered medium rare because places usually cook it a step up from what you order but they were spot on. Props to the chef. Didn’t care for the mussels too much but they were still good. Pricey but the location is great!
Amazing experience. Starting at the valet who was quick, friendly and so sweet to let me borrow an umbrella on such a dreary day. Then the hostess was all smiles and so pleasant. Our server was Marvin and he really made the evening so enjoyable. He was incredibly attentive, fun and accommodating. Food was delicious. I had the 12oz steak and frites with mushroom and onion. $40 even and worth every penny. The steak was so tender I barely had to cut it with a knife and the fries were crispy and delicious.
