McShane's Irish Pub & Whiskey Bar

Some people derisively call this a cop bar. That's fine, it's still a favorite. Last time we went, we had the wings, again. I think they're teriyaki marinated, with seasoned salt rub. Whatever, they're the best I've had. We also had spinach dip. So good.

My daughter wanted chocolate milk. They don't have it, but they do have hot chocolate, but they were out, until a server went onto the delivery truck, pulled out the hot chocolate, made her a cup, with extra chocolate chips and marshmallows. We were embarrassed with the kindness of the servers. 10 stars for service.

Beer selection is great, not awe inspiring. That's the only negative thing I can say.

Visited for the first time and the food is very tasty with friendly staff. The one thing I didn't care for was our appetizers came with the meal.

Some of the best fresh burgers in all of downtown Detroit. All of the food is great with a large variety of choices. Come down for a pregame event or like myself before a Union meeting, IBEW LU#58, or one of my several monthly Union committee meetings.

Great first impression, I eat well done meat and my burger was perfectly cooked. Can't wait to try other stuff on the menu, my husband and I watched every one's food come out and everything looks delicious!! Hands down great bar burger! Thanks

I love this place! I never have a bad experience. The owners are always chatting up the guests, making sure they are having a great time. Kathy behind the bar is probably the best bartender I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The food is great, the beer selection is diverse. All around great place in the up and coming Corktown area of Detroit.
