    While visiting from Texas my boyfriend and I wanted some good soul food. I got the veggies plate . The candied yams and greens were really good. My boyfriend said the banana pudding was on point. The establishment is very nice in and out . A modern curb appeal . The only bad thing was my boyfriend's order wasn't taken and rung .He was a bit disappointed 😞. He was looking forward to eating his catfish plate. But we would definitely have to revisit once we are in Detroit again. 😊

    1st the curb appeal cool it has a nice wood style, clean and elegant. The place was clean clean, the owner and staff was friendly I was greeted by everyone when I walked in.
    I ordered orange roughy fried fish with
    Mac & cheese, candied yams

    The fried fish is slapping and it's made FRESH!! (Well worth the wait) The mac & cheese is good nice and cheesy NOT greasy and was moist. Candied yams was good also. Maybe it's just me but I would like more Cinnamon flavor.

    The banana pudding is good and I'm allergic to bananas 🤤😅

    I will be back!!! Definitely gotta try those greens

    For a small building, it was nicely decorated and looked clean. This is not a dine-in type of restaurant. The food was okay. The macaroni needed more salt. The rib tips were a little tough. The meat wasn't tender. The peach cobbler was mainly crust. I could only find 3 peaches. It had a weird taste. The greens were ok. I've had better soul food. That will probably be my first and last visit.

    DELICIOUS!!! I ordered Soul 2 Go via Uber Eats. First time supporting this establishment thanks to The Hungry Black Man. They did NOT disappoint. We ordered:
    Smothered Turkey Chops with dressing and yams
    Fried Turkey Chops with yams and mac
    Wings with yams and mac
    Large collard greens w/ smoked turkey meat
    All dinners come with 2 sides and cornbread
    This food taste like my Big Mama is in the back with her bonnet and duster on. Yes it's that good...lol
    I would've given a 5 star rating, but the mac wasn't cheesy enough. It was seasoned just not cheesy. Go try this place for yourself.
