The food and service are excellent! They never disappoint. The turkey chops and black eyed peas and collard greens soup are too die for! Now they have soul food sides once a month, around the end of each month, DELICIOUS!

I wish I was greeted by the staff upon entering. I was hoping for the vegan options or sugar free option but the young lady stated it’s not available. The cream cheese cake was good but the peach cobbler had too much sugar.

Honestly, I can’t find the words to describe Sweet Potato Sensations! From the Turkey Chop to the pies! OMG. And on top of that the customer service is nothing like I’ve experienced before! Very personable, knows their customers by name, and takes black excellence to another level!

Well, I should be ashamed of myself, because it took me 10 years to get there. But when I got there, I was greeted by this beautiful wonderful Queen singing behind the counter, you could do some light shopping while youre waiting on your food. On the chalkboard there were black eyed peas and green soup. I thought I saw some cornbread at another customer next to me was having. I ordered the sampler and a cup of coffee that I devoured before I even got out the door. A black owned business, Queens, great location, next to the artist village in blight busters. A little shoe repair shop across the street, a little quaint little town even, and the old Redford theater to boot. I loved it! love the energy and will be back again and again and again. In fact,I'm going to get that little sampler again today. 20 stars indeed
