(February 25, 2019, 6:24 pm)Still as good as they were in the 90s! A vintage-style, slightly Americanized spot with hard-working staff and great and fresh tastes. Deep fried flour tacos are available upon request and they've got the same great salsa that they've had since I was a kid. Always pleasant people serving and it's cool to be able to see the cooks. Definitely an underrated place!

(December 15, 2018, 2:06 pm)My friend and I we're coming back from a concert. We stopped at Taco Especial to get a bite to eat. We have eaten there before many times. It's small and quaint. Food is authentic. Staff is very personable. We felt very welcomed there. Prices are fair. We would recommend it to all our friends. Thank you to the Garcia's for all their love and effort.
