Michael's On The River

Visited this establishment for the first time with a good friend who had been here before. It is located right by a river like the name suggest. I really like this place. Very inviting employees and patrons. Everything was priced well. The food was good. I will definitely return when i am back in Flat Rock.

They've got great steaks and overall good food. Reasonable drink prices. However, they need to update their Google listing to reflect the times they -actually- serve food and also add a disclaimer that if it's slow, they send cooks home anyway. My time is my most valuable asset and Michael's kind of ruined my fiance and I's first night out in two years. ????

When they have music, it's usually great. If you are not there for music, I urge you to go elsewhere ... Such a small place makes for crazy loud entertainment.

Only had the triple appetizer & it was good. Though I've heard their french onion soup is delicious! Next time. The bartender was nice enough to attempt 2 different methods of the Michigan mule & while still tasty it was not the taste of the original I'd had at another establishment & I couldn't name what the taste difference was unfortunately but, kudos for trying! Thank you!
