(August 27, 2018, 5:00 am)The Ford Yacht Club is easily one of the best kept secrets on Lake Erie! The food is absolutely delicious and the drinks are nothing short of phenomenal. It's located on the southern tip of Grosse Ile at the mouth of the Detroit River as it empties into Lake Erie, and it's easily one of the most picturesque yacht clubs in all off Michigan, if not America. If you already belong to another yacht club, you may be able to visit this incredibly friendly Yacht Club via reciprocity, but otherwise you can only enjoy the virtues of the Ford Yacht Club if you are a member.
