Didn't even mean to enter the restaurant. I was walking to my car from Hungry Howies, as I passed by the building, glancing into the windows, I was suddenly seated inside. A napkin on my lap, a menu in my hands. I look back out the windows, I see myself, holding a Hungry Howies pizza box. My, his?, our?, our. Our pupils dilated, tears streaming from our face. Surrounded by nothing but an intense inky void. Neverending dark.. a waiter appears by my side. Too many teeth in his smile, eyes not quite in right places. His hair was perfect though. Beautiful widows peak. I hear myself order, but don't recall actually speaking. I check back to the windows. We no longer stand there. I don't know where we went, but I hope we are okay. I hear the scraping of chitin on tile, a clank, I'm holding a steak knife and fork. A 16 oz steak sits in front of me. Its bleeding, pulsing. I salivate, a deep urge to tear into this flesh, this steak. I throw the utensils behind me and rip into the steak. Blood soaks my clothes, a puddle growing beneath me. The waiter is seated across from me, his smile wider, baring incomprehensible rows of teeth. "Hows the sssteak sir?" I don't answer, I only eat. The waiter laughs. I blink. I'm in my car. It's 4 am. My pizzas cold. I drive home. I sleep for 15 hours. Great steak.

Great steak! I tried their spaghetti and meatballs as well, and it was so good that I ordered the meatball sub the next day for lunch, as well as the meatball platter for dinner. This is a real gem, and I know that only a select few can even see the sign (let alone the restaurant) but if you can you've gotta give the Gear Bolt Steakhouse a try.

Honestly pretty amazing. Had the steak called “The Green Machine” and it changed my life. Very tasty food. A small scent of pine in the building, but that’s okay, because the food made up for it. Would rate a million stars if I could.

    Hi everyone,
I am the server that Jeffrey was talking about. He must have gotten my name mixed up, but it is no big deal, as this happens a lot. I was born up above. My mother and father are the sun and the moon and my brothers and sisters are the stars. When I was a young, 23 year old man, I decided that being a star was kind of boring so I leapt for the nearest habitable planet (which happened to be this one) and I quietly opened up a restaurant called The Gear Bolt Steakhouse. That was 20 years ago. I am 43 Earth-years old and I have been lonely lately, as for the past three months my only companion has been Jeffrey here. I have only met a few compadres who have stumbled into my establishment, and my theory is that they were all stars at one point too. My brothers and sisters who have fallen from the sky, rejoice, for we have meet again. I am leaving 5 stars on this review to remind me of the five people I have met here along the way, who were presumably my star friends and family. Please, please, if you are descended from the heavens, give my place a try, and if you order a steak I'll give you a rum and coke for free.

The place is listed as not open just yet, but it was for me. Only some can actually see the sign on the building, and when you walk in, only some can even see the inside of the building. A select few cannot even get into the building because they do not have the so-called "right of way", which is granted at birth by the divine. (however, you still can see the sign in pictures, just not in the physical world.) Anyways, because of this, the place makes you feel special and welcome, as those who manage to sense the existence of the Gear Bolt Steakhouse are special beings indeed. Our server named Jared did a great job. He said that he had worked here for over 20 years, and yet very few people came in to eat because few (including myself) are blessed with the power of the "third eye" if you will, a heightened sense of senses in essence.
On to the food. My filet mignon was seared perfectly as I wanted it. My side of mashed potatoes was better than anything I have ever had, and together, the mix of flavors brought out the beauty of the dish and helped amplify the natural flavor from the steak itself. I thought I was dreaming when I went here because no one else could see the place, but apparently it's on Google Maps, and I thought I would leave my review of the place so that those who have the vision and those who have opened their mind and aura to the way of the Gear Bolt Steakhouse can find a great bite to eat at an unbeatable price.
