Buddy's Pizza

Detroit's spot for pizza. Toppings are baked inside. Large salads can feed 3 people. Call ahead for faster service for take out. This location has a small dining area . This place can get busy fast. The walk-in wait times can be longer than 30 minutes.

After hearing nothing but good things we tried it out, and were very disappointed. The crust was very dry and tough on both pizzas we got, and the bbq chicken pizza looked and tasted as if it had a few drops of sauce on the whole thing. It was nothing like the pictures we’ve seen. All in all not a good experience

Edit: tried Buddy’s again after speaking with the manager having assurance the above was not the normal standard, and it was much better! Pizza and crust were both good and the salad was also great

Buddy's Pizza is my all time favorite. I absolutely love Buddy's. There food is always fresh & hot once it comes out. I love the lasagna, salads, pizza, & the bread. They also carry Asiago cheese which I always get.
I dined in this time. The staff were friendly & very fast. Every time I go to the location on Mack I am completely satisfied.
The store is always clean.
I'll be back soon even if it's for a carryout for lunch.

20min wait I was told on the phone turned into an extra half-hour wait when I got there with no explanation on why.

Pizza is perfect and fresh though.

Could we please get a full-size restaurant on the east side that would be really nice.

I’m mean Plymouth is getting one and that’s really close to the Livonia location even the Novi location but us Grosse pointers have to go really far to get full service
