Fresh Fish House

Today is Fri. 03/01/19. I give the Highland Park, MI a 5 star rating⭐ .I am from Detroit, but I have been living in Wayne, MI for 8 years now. I also graduated from Highland Park High School that is closed down(smh). However, when I was homeless off and on between 2005-2010, this fish restaurant would let me and other low-income customers who had a foodstamp card buy fish or a fish dinner using our card. They would take from the food account and charge us only $1.00 in cash to cook the food. I really appreciated that because mothers with children needed to keep whatever cash they had in their cash account on the card to buy diapers, baby wipes, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, buspass, etc. The food was always good, delicious, and tasty.

Food was delicious. I just wish you could sit down and eat.

Catfish nuggets and shrimp were delicious. Added lemon pepper seasoning and that made it ginger licking good!

The fish is always fresh. They also cook your fish really well. The prices are at market . Sales are good.

Oh my! I passed this place in Highland Park all the time. Even went to the Sav-a-lot that use to sit across the street. Which is gone now. I heard that their fish was good. But when I ate it, the perch particularly. That flavor was the bomb. Very delicious, even the steak fries were good! I would recommend this place to everyone I know. Certain fish stores fish taste gamey. That taste like it was from down south home cooking. Staff is very friendly and get your order to you in a timely manner. Store very clean and parking is very accessible.❤
