Dix Coney Island 3

I loved the friendly service and the prices. I had the philly cheese steak omelet and it was fantastic. My husbands corned beef was perfect also. Going back to try the burgers. Coffee was great. Didnt taste like dishwater. First time breakfast was under 20 for 2 with a tip.

It depends what time I go but it's impossible to know who's working. Example: I get brought soup, mushrooms and dinner all at once. I can't possibly eat it all at once so why bring it all at once? I explain why (because my food gets cold) and yet I constantly get all my food brought at once. I mentioned it again. I was told everyone had there own style but I could care less when all "I" want is hot food & it's my money! The next time I get served everything at once and can't enjoy my food because it's cold then I'm not leaving a tip! Also my coffee mug on the edge of the table is the first indication that I'd like another cup, not when I'm ready to leave but now (while I'm eating). You might wonder why I don't go somewhere else? It's merely because I live right next door. I just sat there the other day watching the gal chatter boxing (flirting) with a regular that comes in only for coffee while basically ignoring all the paying customers. It was 30 minutes she was yaking with him and on the phone texting. My food was cold and coffee cup empty. She was chuckling with that man while I was waiting.

The food is always good. The staff is mostly friendly. Never a problem picking up my food. This coney is doing something right.

Standard coney not bad not awesome. The owners are really nice though and it's always quick service. The staff knows me by face even if I don't show up for a few months and always remember what I order usually.
