Great private room for 20 people. A nice quiet way to enjoy your meal and conversations with family or friends. A good attentive wait staff that will get your requests correct. Decent prices and food choices; served hot and delicious. No rush. No loud music. OK to bring in your birthday cake. We had a great Father's Day/ birthday party. We will return.
Tip included in bill; ok to add to it.
It's pub food, but it's damn good pub food. They have a good selection of beers and other drinks, and the food is reasonably priced and high quality. It's one of my favorite places to take my dad and brothers when there's a special occasion and they want to get a pint of quality beer.
It was okay. Some of the seats had the leather peeling off them as I'm guessing they were very old. Our table was very wobbly, but we switched tables, so it wasn't that inconvenient. The food was okay, but not bad either. The bathrooms were kind of dirty. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. It was also very dark and my parents had a hard time reading the menus.
EDIT: Apparently, someone at the restaurant amended our tip to 50% without us knowing and tried to get away with it. Thankfully, our credit card provider called us and asked us if this was correct (no, it was not). We will never visit this establishment again as we don't give business to dishonest thieves and I would encourage you all to do the same.
EDIT #2: The owner reached out to me yesterday and they sound like they are taking this seriously. I have amended my review.
Great selection of beer, both on tap and bottled. A lot of Michigan products too, so it's easy to buy local. If you are looking for comfort food, this is the perfect spot. The portions are large. There is also a lot of elevated bar food on the menu. Beware the noise level; this is not the best place for a quiet conversation. Ask to be seated in the back room if you are looking for a quieter environment, or come for brunch.
The themed quiz events every week are so much fun! It's not just your standard pub trivia. "Game of Thrones", "Disney", and "Friends" are some good examples.
Great traditional Irish dishes plus some American fare like burgers and such. Decent beer selection and full bar. Fun to hang out here or bring the family for dinner. Excellent service every time I've been there too. Some dishes are huge like the Monte Cristo, but the Irish dishes are perfectly sized for dinner. Plus there is a smaller lunch size available all day too.
