Livonia breakfast club

I'll title this review 'why people don't come back'. First time at Breakfast Club for my wife and I, and we found the wait staff pleasant and helpful, and the menu more than adequate. When the waitress took my egg order it was 'beat them well and scramble them soft'. When they arrived they were scrambled soft, however being barely beaten the whites were runny. Okay, I ate around this as maybe the order wasn't written correctly or read correctly, but when paying I did bring this up to the waitress. She informed me that she could not mention this to the cook as he is irritable. During our meal when another customer received his meal, he told his waitress that he had ordered sausage, and instead got bacon. When that waitress got into a discussion with the cook, the cook said no mistake was made and the customer yelled out 'I'll eat the bacon'. When a mistake on an order is made, and the person who made the mistake won't own up to it, it's time to go on down the road. Plenty of good restaurants around.

The name sounded interesting.

But it was totally just a little diner, nothing special. Nothing from the movie "The Breakfast Club". No games, music, about the blandest decor you can imagine.

I'm not young, but this place is for a much older crowd than me.

I would try again. There were only 5 tables occupied, so the mistakes made should not have happened. My skillet was delicious, love the hash browns, but my husband's breakfast came out in portions. The meats came out 5 minutes after his eggs. While the wait staff definitely needs polishing, the cook should have had it all together at the window to serve.
