Stables Bar & Grill

Cody is a great bartender. I had a wonderful time my first time dining in second time dining at the bar. The atmosphere was nice the patrons were really nice as well.

Everything about Stables is corner bar comfortable. There's always conversation to join in at the bar. Crowds of all ages rub elbows and chew the sports-political fat. Whether you lean left or right, everyone's welcome to chime in. The food's rock-solid, and some real effort goes into the daily specials (hand-battered Walleye was a winner). The comfy-cozy factor really kicks in during the winter months inside Stables close confines. I've sat on the patio once or twice, but the real charm of the place is clubby interior, in my opinion. The core service staff stay the same, which is nice, too. They know their stuff and seem happy enough. The owner's an old Fordson guy. So am I. Go Tractors!

The burgers are SOO good! Love the food. Drinks are made good. Love the patio. The ONLY thing bringing this place down is the extremely slowwww service! I understand all of the obstacles now a days but if there is going to be a wait, at least make sure our drinks are refilled and you check on us to see if everything is OK. I'd recommend offering a free snack/appetizer to keep patrons occupied if you are going to have them wait a hour++ for their food and rarely check on them.

Old school bar. Wait staff was excellent. Ordered the Friday fish special. It was more food than I could eat!
