Dickeys Barbecue Pit

Food was good, though the brisket was a little on the dry side. Portions were smaller than expected, especially based on price. Everyone was nice and the sweet tea was amazing.

The brisket is pretty good. No special stuff, just simple barbeque. It would be nice if they had a few more sauce offerings, but many barbeque enthusiast would argue you only need three kinds of sauce; spicy, traditional and sweet. So, I guess that works. Overall, I liked it.

I was in the area and was looking for something different but still quick. This place is a home run. Everyone was really helpful too, seeing how it was my first time and I had no idea what to get. This is one of my new favorite places!

The menu is s little confusing at first, but the food is really good. The dining area is well kept. Staff was very friendly. Plus free soft serve ice cream.

Definitely legit barbecue. I lived in Louisiana for over 5 years and I am definitely not so easy to please with regard to BBQ. The sides were very good - both the beans and slaw don't disappoint. I had the pulled pork & slaw tacos...kind of a cool idea. Very good.
