Smoothies On 7 Mile Dairy Bar

Geeezz. I worked at this Dairy Bar in 1965. Made 50cents/hour. I remember a male made 1$ per hour. It was Kim-Pat Dairy Bar at the time. Named after the owner’s wife and daughter. Will try it when I’m back in the area.

Best place to get ice cream in Metro Detroit! Drive thru is very convenient but can take up to 20 min to get through, but it's worth the wait!!

Smoothies has been around a long time, probably not the same owner but I remember getting ice cream (and even hot food in the winter) 40 years ago at this location when I was a kid helping my sister with deliveries.
It's been "Smoothies" as I know it now probably 15-20 years. Used to take my (now grown daughter) here as a kid. They seem to always keep busy with the drive-thru, and now I live close enough to just walk up when the urge strikes me.
The kids working there are always friendly and quick with the orders. Can't say I've ever had anything made wrong or that didn't taste fantastic. Great variety of flavors available, from soft-serve to hard packed ice cream and all the concoctions you can imagine.
Stop by sometime, you won't regret it.

The taste and quality of shakes and ice cream are always delicious and consistent. You may have to wait awhile in line to place order. You will not be disappointed. The prices have went up.

Kids and I love this place. The staff is friendly and really kind. Prices are good.
