Bierkeller Tavern & Eatery

I love this place. Always a great selection of both German beer as well as Michigan craft. The food is fantastic too. Do yourself a favor and go!

Visited the Bierkeller for dinner on a Friday afternoon. Nice place, but I was a bit disappointed.

I think my expectations were high because I had been told they had authentic German food. While the food we had was good, the schnitzel in particular, it wasn't what I remembered from Germany. Good food, but not what I was expecting.

I also found the music to be a bit too loud. It was eclectic, though, ranging from hip-hop to Rat Pack. The volume made it hard to carry on a conversation though.

The service was very good. I appreciated that part of my visit.

The selection of beers was excellent - the best I've seen in the area. If that's what you're looking for, this will be the place for you.

Overall, maybe it's not the right place for me, but you might like it.

Went for Sunday Brunch. Mimosas were awesome got a carafe, wife and i got the buffet great bargain for the price. Food was great. Def want to go back for a regular day meal. Not much of a beer person so it was a bit intimidating to have so much to go over but Tiffany was awesome! Ask for her if she is in. Cannot wait to go back.

Great place. Bacon wrapped sausage, breaded pork, Cuban sandwich were all great. Fun atmosphere, service was friendly and attentive, she was a great server. Great beer selection. Would definitely recommend.
