Even though it took a long time for the preparation of my meal, once I got home, I was very pleased. The only thing I had to add was some powered sugar on my French toast & sugar on my grits! Very pleasant atmosphere, the front line worker has great customer service skills, she never complained & multi-tasked taking orders, filling orders, making shakes, running the dining area. My first time was a long wait but worth every bite!

Treated like Royalty... I took my 85 year old mother out for a late 11 a.m. breakfast. I decided to try Flapjacks because of all of the great reviews of their food and service. When getting ready to walk in, they noticed that my mom was older and hurried to open the front door for her. Mom wanted coffee so instead of giving her coffee that was already sitting, they told her they were going to make a fresh pot for her, which mom loved. We both ordered their Slammer because it came with all the typical breakfast items (eggs, meat, hash browns, toast and 2 pancakes). The food was amazing, better than IHOP or the typical coney islands we usually go to for breakfast. We definitely will be going back, and maybe for lunch because I really want to try their fried chicken. To the staff at Flap Jack's, thank you for the wonderful meal and experience, and most of all for making my mom feel so special. May God bless you all and your business.

Best pancakes and waffles I’ve ever had. Very unassuming place on the outside, but the menu and ingredients do the talking and are about to make me a regular. Definitely try the Dirty Fries if you come for lunch. The breading on the chicken is perfectly crispy and well seasoned. I can’t remember the last time I was served chicken tenders at a restaurant that weren’t frozen. What Flapjacks lacks in flash and size is easily made up for in a simple menu with a clear vision, fair prices, great food, and memorable service. We met Noor the owner the night before at his other restaurant, Iceburg in Dearborn, and he sold us on his food and atmosphere there too where we knew we had to try whatever else he was helming. He made lifelong patrons in us in just one visit to each.

Exceptional experience. The staff and the food was extremely good. It was a once in a lifetime experience from when we arrived to the point of us leaving. The owner along with the staff displayed knowledge, patience and kindness through the visit. The chicken and waffles along with the hash browns, cap and apple pie topping was extremely good. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back for a visit soon.
