On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

Great food, slow service. Took 20 mins just to get my order placed while seated at the bar. This was my second experience with this place the first was seated at an actual table with the same results of slow service. Felt ignored at some points. Ordering Togo from now on

We sit at the bar on nights Jeff works. He's fast, funny and great at his job. The rest of the staff is equally nice and I never see anyone standing around. It's very clean and I love watching them make their tortillas. The food is always perfectly cooked and flavorful. I usually get the fajitas or endless enchiladas if it's Monday. We've never had less than great service or bad food. My go to place for Mexican food! Definitely recommend!

The staff is lovely, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is delicious. However, I have to deduct two stars for the most expensive shrimp I've ever eaten. We got the ultimate fajitas- which were great- and I requested extra shrimp. I was told it'd be 4 dollars, I agreed. 3 shrimp. 3 shrimp for 4 dollars. First star deducted for $1.33 per shrimp. The second star deducted for not being told I was buying beforehand. If I'd known for bucks would get me three regular size shrimp I wouldn't have agreed.
