The Iron Gate

We love this place! It's a little getaway in our own town. Amazing drinks and great food. We love and highly recommend the chicken Milanese, best we've had anywhere! Go! You won't regret it!

My wife and I love visiting NYC and enjoying the dining experiences that the city has to offer. The vibe and experience that Iron Gate offers reminded us of our time in Manhattan - down to the chill, inked up waitresses. Highly recommend.

Great staff as always! Drinks and food are top notch. Nice to have high quality downriver. Love the ambiance and different genres of music. No riff raff. Sit and relax. Great mixture of clientele of various generations

The ambiance was awesome and the food and drinks were incredible! Sadly our waitress was not the greatest. She disappeared a ton and didn't bring out 1 of our small plates until 20 minutes after we finished our first 2 small plates. We then had to ask another waitress for our check as we had no idea where our waitress was. This place is a nice spot though, sadly just had a poor service experience.

This was our first time visiting Iron Gate and won't be the last. We ordered the bang bang shrimp for an appetizer, and it didn't disappoint. For dinner I had the burger with truffle tots and my significant other had the fire pie. The truffle tots were out of this world! Everything else was also tasty, with the pie having just enough heat to not be overbearing. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was because I ordered a medium rare burger and got one well done. That aside the flavors were still good, so the place has the potential to be one of the top spots in Wyandotte.
