The cost was a little high, but the restaurant across the street was wayyy higher and much fancier, so we took our chances. “We went up for fall colors and stayed in log cabins (heated but you can make your own fire). Breakfast is included and delicious! We purchased a picnic basket dinner and grilled our own burgers with some additional fixings! Staff and chef are superb! Well worth the drive!”

“The St Clair Inn was seriously the perfect venue for our wedding this October. They went above and beyond to give us such a phenomenal experience and Jhara and her team were just incredible. From being super reasonable price-wise, to being open to all of our non-traditional wedding ideas, to just being an absolutely gorgeous place to get married, we cannot stop talking about how perfect of a venue this is. I loved that our guests were able to stay there without having to worry about travel at the end of the night, I loved the getting ready room that was provided, and they were just so kind and made everything so easy. I could literally go on for days. 1000000/10 would recommend!”

“Four Suns was the most delicious place I've ever had fresh fried White Fish. The fish was mouth watering, flaky soft delicate and awesome. Down right home made. It tastes better than if you freshly caught it and fried it at the shoreline. I wish I could buy it at home. The fish is as fresh and delicious as it can be. They should train culinary schools how to train top chefs to cook fish. No one does it better. Caught the same day in Lake Superior. I can't describe in words how delicious it was. The fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce was great too. It is by far the best place I've eaten white fish in the UP and America. I'd go an hour out of my way to eat here. It's conveniently located across the street from Quincy Mine right behind the fish market. Definitely a must stop on every trip. An epic great tasting food experience!”

“Found Jim’s Pizza Calumet via Google while visiting the area. Very extensive menu with something for everyone. “Craving a pasty. My first choice was the superette but they have pasties tomorrow. Then tried Tony's but they were closed. I was out of ideas and the husband drove us to subway. Then I saw this place advertising pasties. So we went there instead. I had the best pasty ever. It was perfectly portioned and baked. I also got a 7 layered bar which was delicious and tried my husband's daily special which was really good too! All around great experience.”

“Our 1st time here today. FYI, the booths are cute, but are from the beginning of time, so choose a table for stability instead! Looked at the menu ahead of time. I had a roast beef 1/2 sandwiche with Tuscan chicken soup, and husband had country fried steak. He loved his! I loved mine was great too! Enjoy my pictures. Loved our waitress! “We were on a snowmobile ride with the women when one of the snowmobiles broke down. This was the closest place to tow it. So we had dinner before we went to get the truck and trailer. They had a cast iron seared pork blade steak special, my compliments to the chef the meal was spectacular I should have ordered 2 meals. This was the first restaurant that I have ever been to that has offered a pork blade steak. The staff was awesome, and so was atmosphere. Keep up the great work, everyone. I will be back at least twice a year on my vacations. Many thanks”

“We stopped by Slim’s on the way to Copper Harbor. They make pasties on Thursdays so we were able to order several. They were delicious! We also ordered a cup of chili, corn chowder and spicy fries. All were excellent and had a lot of flavor. It’s a quaint place with friendly servers. We also saw a spicy breakfast skillet come out of the kitchen that looked amazing! Definitely recommend!!”

“My wife and I have gotten pizza from here many times and it's quite good for being made at a gas station. I personally think it's better than a couple of local restaurants that even deliver!?!? If this Godfather's had delivery they would kill it up here. The price is reasonable and they give hearty amounts of toppings. Very much worth the short drive to pick it up in store. They did mess up a pizza of ours once, but had no issue getting another one made fresh right away. They even offered a refund. We enjoyed the new fresh, correctly made pizza very much!”

“We went here for our anniversary dinner, we ordered a wood fired pizza and ice cream. Online this place looked like a sit down restaurant. Turns out it's a poolside bar/bistro in the middle of a resort. Pizza took normal amount of time to cook but tasted like a frozen pizza. Ice cream took 30 minutes after getting our pizza. We only went here because it was near our vacation campsite but if you're looking for a place to eat in the area, just drive the couple extra miles and go somewhere else.”

Food was impeccable! Started with the Brussels. Very crispy, sweet and savory. We ordered prime rib and walleye for our entrees. Large portion sizes and cooked perfectly. Ended the evening with the house made chocolate mousse and peanut butter chocolate cheesecake. Both were so good! We will definitely be back.”
