“This is a nice cozy place that has a fairly big menu and absolutely wonderful food. The white fish was freshly caught that morning. The decor is covered in ship and seafaring items. The service was good. Although it was not on the main strip, it is not far. I would recommend this place.”

“Honestly very pleasant! It’s an order window service style, but they have a couple tables inside and some picnic tables outside. We all got the beef pasty with gravy. Very good! The only complaint was the lack of vegetables inside, but as per the large sign inside: original beef pasties only have beef, potatoes, rutabaga, and onions. But it’s a great blend of flavors. And the staff that helped us was so kind.”

“Stopped along my way back to the lower peninsula on 2 with a long line for the bridge ahead of me. I was looking for a good and fast fish fry and the Fish Trolley came through! Surprisingly only one other patron there, they had reasonable prices and several fish options for a quick lunch. I opted for the fish tacos which came with 2 and fries. Services and fast and friendly and the food was delicious. The tacos has a sort of pesto/mayo/tarter sauce on them that was excellent and the fish and fries were very crispy and fresh. I will be back the next time I pass through!”

“So I went today and the man who was there was super friendly and it was clean in there. The service was also quick for my lunch break. The only reason I am not satisfied was the very little pulled pork that was put into the bun. It was mostly just bread and sauce. The bun was huge. I did like the baked beans, I wasn’t a fan of the Mac and cheese but it was okay. I just felt like for the money, I should’ve been able to get more meat.”

“Great little 9 hole track. One par 5 and the remainder par 4s/3s. Course was in good shape and pace of play wasn’t too bad. If you want a quick 9 in to keep the practice up, definitely come check it out. Staff was kind and courteous as well.”

It's hard to leave without a couple of fresh baked cookies. Wonderful people. I'm there almost every day. Always a comfortable environment. Be warned tho, if your not hungry the smell in the air will definitely bring out your appetite...”

“First time visiting on March 1st, 2024. Wonderful experience, great vibe, awesome customer service, and enjoyable food and beer. I tried the Russian Imperial Stout and it was lovely, dark and strong with an apple aftertaste. The pretzel had beer cheese and mustard to dip and both dips were fantastic! The bartender/server was friendly, kind, and helpful. We chatted a bit and she helped guide me toward a future order. I will definitely return to try the hard ciders, beer flights, and spirits, all made in house. I picked up a half dozen of fresh apple donuts on my way out.. definitely strongly recommend!”

“I cannot fathom a sane, intelligent human being, of good character and conscience, not loving this place. Wonderful, fresh food. Instant comfort and rapport with family/proprietors. Felt like hanging out with the family you actually still like to see at the holiday get-togethers.”

“This place was packed Saturday night! They had a band from Ypsilanti playing at 8. The band was great and so was our server! The burgers were huge and very unique! I ordered the western burger with mushrooms. It was pretty good. They said they cook them to order, but my medium rare was definitely more like medium well. I think I would’ve liked my burger a lot more if it hadn’t been overcooked. The bbq sauce is amazing. I believe it’s actually homemade. It makes the western burger for sure. My friends who ordered the chili burger loved it and said they’d definitely get it again. My friend ordered the black n bleu burger and it came with a balsamic vinegar glaze on it, which I looked at the menu and didn’t see anything about it in the description about a glaze? He sent it back for another burger and they were very understanding and got his new burger out asap. 1 of my friends ordered a cheese fry plate with pork belly. I personally think it was a rip off because of how little there was of pork belly. I definitely wouldn’t order it. The breaded mushroom appetizer is 10/10. The breading is seriously the best breading I’ve ever had on mushrooms. Crispy, thin, and flavorful. The pretzel bites with beer cheese wasn’t bad. We would definitely pick the mushrooms over them tho. The downfalls were: 1: They need bigger booths or more tables to seat a party of 5+. 2: Everything is so expensive! Overall it was a good experience. We will definitely come back and try more menu items for sure.”

“Absolute must visit! The owner, Larry, and his wife, Lucy, have made a spectacular place to enjoy some fantastic food. The service was great as well! My family and I had a variety of dishes and each was phenomenal. We cannot wait to stop in again! Make sure to get the sausage & peppers appetizer as well as the bruschetta. My kids enjoyed their spaghetti and my wife loved the chicken parmigiana!”

“This place has some of the best tacos I've ever had and at a great price. They run daily specials and we got the Gringas with pineapple. Out of this world! We'll be back! Stoked that this place is only a few miles from home. I ordered 3 tacos but with them being so packed with flavor and food I was only able to get 2 down. The good news, I have tomorrow's lunch lined up and I'm looking forward to it!”

“What you're looking at here is a Trinity of Mexican Pork: Left to Right Carntias Chorizo Al Pastor These were all done right, and are served the proper way on double corn tortillas. The best part about this place is the Salsa & Condiment bar so you can dress them to your exact desires. Cilantro & White Onion is all I need along few a few salsas to try. The red tomatillo and guac ones were on point. Definitely worth the stop if you're passing through!”

“Sonny D's is a nice new place to have a drink and bite to eat. They offered a large bar selection to choose from, and you could have anywhere from a classic burger and fries to Chargrilled Oysters or Sausage Franconello. The atmosphere was cozy, especially with the fireplace. There were a lot of dishes I couldn't wait to try. We started with the Bavarian Pretzels, which didn't disappoint. Then I had spaghetti and Nona's famous homemade meatballs. My husband had the Rigatoni Portobello. Both dishes were wonderful. Our server was very nice, just a little slow. We will definitely go back!”

“This place has great vibes. My wife and I had burgers. The meat was fresh Angus never frozen and it was definitely in the taste. The fries and onion rings were really good to. Survice very friendly and attentive. All in all, a great place to eat sit and have lunch or dinner. We will be back for sure. P.S. my fish bowl drink excellent. 5 stars all the way around. Thank you for a wonderful experience.”

“Having now visited East Fork Pasty Co. several times, I've had the pleasure of experiencing their pasties through both online-preorder and walk-up methods. The process of reserving an order online was very user-friendly, and the service has consistently been personable and efficient. The standout feature of these pasties for me has always been the perfectly crisp crust and flake that holds its shape, making it a great convenience food. The pasty not only eats well but, from my experience, I have not yet cared to add any dressing or gravy of my own. The filling, in all of their varieties of pasty, has proven to be consistently balanced and decently seasoned. Additionally, it's worth noting that East Fork Pasty Company operates exclusively on Sundays and Mondays from 12:30pm 'until-sold-out’ or 2:00pm, adding to the allure of their exceptional small-batch, handcrafted pasties. The limited opening hours contribute to the unique charm of this establishment, where the demand for their delectable products often results in quick sell-outs. This only adds to the allure and exclusivity of their fantastic offerings. I highly recommend this new pasty window shop based out of Ramona’s Bakery.”
