The service was really good, the place could use a little sprucing up but with that being said it gives a nice whole in the wall kind of feel.
The Vietnamese coffee was great (kinda pricy for the size). Tofu pad Thai was tasty and flavorful, the pho was just ok but still good. Food portions were good for the price.
It was the only pho that was closest to us at the moment. So we decided to go try. First time here and the food was really good. Didn't know there was a hidden restaurant in mpls. The food didn't disappoint me at all.
Kito is very nice and fun to talk with. First visit, took pho home. The smell in the car was amazing and just made me more hungry for when I got home. Portions were good, plenty of meat, basil, and sprouts. Tad light on the noodles, but the to-go container was full with the full meal. Broth was full of flavor with the star anise the star of the show.
Look forward to my next trip there, hopefully, to try the pho at the resturaunt.
I really enjoy their Bo Lu Luc (shaking beef). The flavor on this dish is similar to my OG mom. Pho is tasty too. The staff here is friendly and helpful.
No pictures, but I will update this review when I return.
My rating for the restaurant, I felt the restaurant charges the correct price for their pho n food items.
The pho broth was good, the amount of noodle n meat items was correct for their price because people have to remember inflation on food.
Their homemade chilly was to die for, I love it because it was spicy n so yummy it was good with my pho.
The grill pork and cold banhmi sandwiches were yummy.
Beef laab was good, too.
For a local restaurant in Columbia heights, I was impressed with their food, especially I'm asian so if the food doesn't taste good, we're pretty honest. The food taste really close to home cook food. I'm very happy to try their food and celebrate my daughter birthday last min.
The owner's was kind n super friendly and made me felt good because my baby had autism and he was having an episode but the owner was kind and made sure if I needed anything, because had to leave, my baby couldn't stay long at the restaurant.
I am definitely coming back because I definitely want to try their other food, some that caught my attention was their dry pho, pho Gia, n waygu pho.
