First time eating here since they opened. We ordered Bibimbap, deep fried squid, Tteokbokki, and a six piece fried chicken combo (half soy/ half spicy). Bibimbap was okay. Nothing spectacular about it. Wish they added more veggies and meat. The spicy sauce for it did make the Bibimbap taste a little better, so make sure to mix it in. The deep fried squid was nice and hot, but it was only okay. The next dish was Tteokbokki. I wasn't a fan of it because it was like chewing gum, but my kid enjoyed it. We would've liked more cheese on it. That would've been yummy. The last dish was the fried chicken. It was more of a wet batter fried chicken. It was fresh, hot, nice, and crispy. It was good. I would say they are similar to Bon Chon, but cannot compare to them. Bon Chon is, however, a better option, in my opinion, for me and my family. But this place was nice to try.

Service was slow with water. We sat and ate with no water refill all the way until we finished eating. We had to flag a worker down just for water even when it wasn't busy.

We've been patiently waiting for months for this place to open. So excited to try all the new dishes we've never tasted before. Food was served quickly in spite of the business and was hot. Definitely impressed by the chicken's crispiness and seasoning. Wings are larger than I thought they'd be. You must do the combo of Soy Garlic and Spicy. Also highly recommend the thighs since you get a larger piece of meat with more of the delicious skin!! They're served with a nice coleslaw to tame the heat down. Also had the Pork Belly Steamed Buns and were very happy with the myriad of flavors and contrasting textures. Steamed bun is so velvety soft! Soooo many interesting dishes on the menu. We will definitely be regulars here! Very friendly and knowledgeable service too. Can't wait to return. Welcome to the neighborhood Chi Maek!

Stopped in Chi Maek for lunch. The food was really good. The fries were nothing special. The pickle radishes had a good flavor. The potstickers were great and cooked perfectly. The chicken was the star, especially the soy garlic the spicy was good also.

    Sooooo glad they finally opened.

The atmosphere is great. Clean and inviting and lots of room. The chicken was kicker. So flavorless and juicy, and the pickles were amazing. The pork buns were tender, and the sauce and slaw were killer. I'm so happy they are here.

It's definitely a place to go. We will for sure work our way through the menu.

Setting some great new standards for restaurants in the area.

Chicken wings were delicious! It came out nice and hot. The batter was perfect, crispy, and light. We couldn't stop eating them! The cucumbers were also tasty and fresh. Everything we ordered was amazing. The owner came out to greet us, she was very sweet. Customer service was great.
