Seems like one of the better places to go in the area. Service was okay and the food was good. Smoked pork ribs were really good.

We stopped on our way up North for lunch, it was very quiet in the restaurant. Atmosphere was nice but it was dusty on the ceiling fans and in the Ladies Room. The men's room was out of paper towels. I had the BBQ brisket platter and my husband had a barbecue bacon cheeseburger with fries. Prices were similar to other places and the food was absolutely fantastic! Huge portions, I had to get a to go box for mine. Staff was friendly and courteous, when we asked questions about the menu or server couldn't answer them all because she said that she didn't eat meat LOL so it was hard to get a good review from her.

Timeliness of services adequate, we did have to wait a bit for our bill and to ask for some more barbecue sauce, as our server wasn't anywhere to be found. That was a minor issue, and would not keep me from going there again.

I would definitely recommend this place for slower times of the day like we were there. My husband has said that when he drives by in the evenings the parking lot is always packed so I'm not sure that I would want to be there during happy hour or busy times.

Very good food. My wife and I had two different types of jacked-up grilled cheese sandwiches, and both were really good. I should have left a bigger tip so the poor thing behind the bar could go buy the rest of her shorts :)

I ordered the peach bourbon shrimp with sweet potato fries and my boyfriend ordered the mac and cheese burger. We also started with onion rings.

The onion rings, shrimp, and burger were all fabulous. My boyfriend did not eat the mac and cheese as the description did not indicate the presence of red onions, something that does not sit well with his system. However I did bring it home as it was really good. I usually avoid mac and cheese at places as in my experience it tends to be too dry. This wasn't.

The only other issue was the sweet potato fries. There was no seasoning and they could have used a bit of salt or something right out of the fryer.

I don't often get a chance to dine here but when I do, I'm never disappointed. The quality of food is great and seasoned perfectly. I recently was able to introduce my father to this place and he enjoyed it as well. The burgers are my favorite and the fries are a wonderful compliment to the burger. The staff is friendly and quick which is good when visiting for a quick lunch.
