The malts were generous for the price but lacked malt powder. Cheese curds came out hot and fresh, they taste exactly like Culver’s cheese curds. Large menu and friendly fast service.
Large portions...too much. Grilled chicken sandwich was large and juicy, but not much flavor. Onion rings were crispy outside, but mushy inside. (Not real onions?) Chocolate malt was good. Hubby says fries were good.
Hands down one of the best current burger joints ! If anyone remembers the old TR McCoy or Arnold's malts, these are possibly even better. Fed both my teenage boys, my wife and myself for under $75 w/ 25% tip (well deserved). The service was great and a nice casual atmosphere.
first time visiting with the family. great malt choices and I appreciate the size options. kids and husband ordered sandwiches which looked fantastic, waffle fries were very tasty. I picked the cobb salad and it was also very fresh and had good amount of egg and avocado in it as well as greens. very clean inside as great service. the only recommendation I would have is for outdoor seating but perhaps it can't be in a strip mall type establishment.
I went for the so-classic chocolate malt and was not disappointed. The thick, truly malty flavor delivered what I expected when I thought of a piece of American food history. Also picked up a bacon cheeseburger and I gotta say that it's probably the best burger you'll get in this area. Not outstanding like some places a few miles further into the cities, but it didn't let me down at all. My favorite part being that the bacon was actually real, thick cut, and cooked very, very nicely to be put on top of a burger. I'd recommend it to anyone who wanted something sweet.
