El Loro Mexican Restaurant

So weird it used to be Urban Lodge Brewery turn into El Loro Mexican Restaurant... Pretty quiet... Need more people to make it's fun... Foods not too bad...

We sat up in the roof patio. It was so nice. I got there burrito loco and it was so good.

Wonderful food. Wonderful service. Wonderful people. Wonderful atmosphere. One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to.

Finally, an authentic Mexican Restaurant in Sauk Rapids!
The atmosphere is great.
Margaritas are great, not juicy, a great balance of tequila with the flavor of your choice.
Options of Mexican beers are fantastic. Who doesn’t love the taste of lime, salt, and a tasty Mexican beer?
Not to mention, a tasty variety of tap and bottled beers.
First time at El Loro? The staff is very knowledgeable with what is on the menu, they are more than willing to explain the variety of food menu choices and give convincing recommendations.
Staff is very helpful, very attentive, and delivery of food and drinks is precise.
By far, my restaurant of choice for great filling Mexican food, Tequilas, and beers.

So my husband and I were stationed in San Diego, California, where there is plenty of Mexican food. But since coming back home we've been hard pressed to find any somewhat authentic Mexican food. This place is the closest we've found yet. They have horchata, the rice is amazing, and so are the beans! And this is just about the only restaurant here in Minnesota where the food actually comes with some spice and that's a welcome change. Will go again!
