Swiss and Madison

My first time here, opened 3 months ago. Really nice atmosphere. Killer walleye sandwich and homemade chips. Upscale for Mankato, but welcoming vibe. I'll be going again when I 'm back in town.

This is new in Mankato, and all I can say is GO THERE! It's a bit upscale, and the food is too. We ordered outside our comfort zone, and we were so glad we did!! Wow! Fantastic food! Incredible service! At first you might feel uncomfortable looking at the menu, but the server will put you right at ease. And once you put that food in your mouth, you will have one set of happy taste buds!

My husband loved the burger and I thought I had the best salad in town. We will definitely be back, and we are really excited a place like this opened up.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The new atmosphere was beautiful and very upscale but homey at the same time. Food was delicious. My husband had the walleye sandwich and it was huge! I had the Chicken Caesar Salad and it was a good portion as well and very delicious! Highly recommend this place!

My daughter and I greatly enjoyed our time at this new restaurant. It is in the location of the former Charlie’s restaurant, the renovation is a great improvement. Only º pen now a few weeks they are stir still trying to sort out their menu.I had a pork chop and Brussel sprouts and my daughter had a steak and waffle fries. Finished it off with chocolate cake. All of the items were well prepared, flavorful and nicely presented. It is a wonderful environment and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would say that is negative is that my cocktail, an old fashioned, was majority fine ice and diluted the flavor of what would’ve been a wonderful drink. I expect it will be better next time.
