Veigel's Kaiserhoff

Been here a number of times. Food is always great and I would recommend. I've had good service except this last time when we waited for 10 minutes for the server to take our drink and food order, dropped the food off, then didn't come back until 15-20 minutes after we were done eating to ask to bring our check and ask if we wanted boxes. So she came to our table a total for 4 times and never refilled empty water container and soda cups.

We were visiting in New Ulm around Christmas time and were looking for a legit German fair. My party of four all ordered different dishes so we could sample the variety. Authentic and flavorful dishes at fair prices. The wait staff took extra care to help us select our meals and ensured we received great service. I recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through New Ulm.

The service was very good. I highly recommend the ribs, which we all enjoyed as well as the bratwurst. The sauerkraut balls were unfortunately gummy. The Schnitzel was good but needed more seasoning.

This was a good German style restaurant! The food was really good, but fairly expensive. I like it alot and may come again! The German paintings and history in this restaurant is evident and that makes me want to come here again more than the food. The food is filling though! Next time I'll have to try their bier! In the words of a random bearded customer, "This place is aesthetically pleasing."
