Fritz's Place

This review is from one who passed through Springfield, MN, at lunchtime looking for local place. When we walked in about noon, it was dark and we asked if they were serving lunch. Yes they were. The menu was hamburgers, hamburgers, and hamburgers. So we each ordered a double. I was surprised they didn’t have 7 up from the sign out front. Tom said the sign was older than he was. Appreciate his sense of humor. The bill was only $9 for two doubles, chips and drinks. For lunch I would order more than you normally would for the sandwiches are small, but taste good. I would recommend it as a place for lunch. Closes at 1.

Love this place, home like environment, friendly service, delicious food... Definitely going back again!

The owner Tom is a local historian who welcomes any and all questions.
And he makes the best burgers in town !

Good food, fun relaxing atmosphere, and prices are good! The owner/waiter/cook, makes you feel at home, remembers your usual order, and always has hot coffee ready!
