One thing that particularly stood out was Cody's background in the restaurant industry. Even though I work as their accounting vendor, not in the food industry directly, I've heard nothing but great things about the restaurant itself, and Cody's experience definitely contributes to that. From my interactions, it seems Farmers Plate prioritizes not only delicious food but also building strong relationships with their partners. “I don’t usually write reviews but I just had the best shrimp tacos I have ever had in my life from here and it would be a shame not to acknowledge it. Who ever cooked them shrimp tacos tonight deserves a raise. I ordered take out so I knew the food wasn’t going to have the same integrity as it would had I eaten them fresh but I was blown away by how much flavor, texture, and intensity my lukewarm tacos still had by the time I got home. Great job! Adding a photo for the algorithm; but note these tacos were so much better than they looked!”

“Beautiful place with good food. I loved the decor and it was really clean. We started with an appetizer sampler. Came out hot and it was pretty much gone by the time the food came. Great onion rings. I had the French dip and added onion and green peppers. It was good. The roast beef was good, not chewy or grisly. Fries were warm. Others had the pizza and said it was delicious. Chicken strips were a thumbs up too. While I wouldn't do the hour drive JUST to eat there, I'd definitely eat there again if i were in town.”

“Overall pretty good food, not the most amazing but not as awful as some people say on here. I wish they would utilize their new space better. You bought this new location and you're allowing the big dining area to be closed off so you can have a lounge? You'd probably have bigger parties go their if you opened that up. I also think there are some pretty tacky things that have got to go! One is the light up sign, the star curtain needs to go, and get your own signs for your hours and shop name instead of covering up something that was there long before you.”

“You just don't see this type of menu in small towns. Gnocchi and risotto. They also have some more standard fair items for those not interested in the fancier fare. I had the risotto, and it was delicious. Good service and tons of great options, if you're looking for something you won't likely find elsewhere. And the prices are very reasonable.”
