Best place around and no ants in the red sauce like china garden. Way cheaper too. Best bang for your buck at 7.95 for lunch buffet with a water

Excellent, as far as buffets go I have never been disappointed here. Ordering takeout is also fantastic.

Food was good, price was good, variety of selections compared to other comparable places nearby was small, but they SERIOUSLY NEED TO CLEAN WALLS BY BOOTHS! UGH!

Hello friends over at the CHINA BUFFET. I am simply writing this review (and I don't do this often) because I wanted to share my experience with other potential customers. It was from my tiny booth-seat inside the Pizza Hut that I first saw, from behind that thick pane of glass, the flashy red-lettering spelling out your "$5.55" lunch buffet. I thought to myself that at a price like what was advertised, it had to be too good to be true. Though, being the thrifty bargain-shopper that I am, I decided I'd stop in sometime in the next week and give the place a try. Fast forward to the coming week: It was a Wednesday afternoon, about 12:30 or so. My buddy and I made our way over to the parking lot for the buffet-style restaurant that was China Buffet. After having read numerous Google reviews on a waiter with the name "Andy", I walked in with some skepticism. We were quickly seated by a hostess who couldn't offer even as much as a half-smile. My friend and I made our way to the buffet lines and each loaded up a plate under the watchful eye of the chef. We took our seats and began eating our gracious meal, all the while our eyes were making their way around the room trying to decide who the infamous
"Andy" was. You see, none of the staff had name tags. One could only assume it was for the very reason of leaving "Andy" unidentifiable. My first impressions of the food were that it lacked sufficient flavor and that everything was too...wet. Considering the price though, the food really wasn't half-bad. It wasn't until we were leaving that I knew without a doubt who this "Andy" person was. I'd left all of the currency that I had with me (sadly, it was only a quarter) as a tip for my waiter's services. As we were paying our bill on the way out, our waiter came running over yelling "Sir! Your quarter!". I'd never felt so disgraced in my life. Andy knew that was HIS tip for HIS services and he just threw it back at me in the most ungrateful way. I feel justified in saying that I won't be returning to the CHINA BUFFET. Thank you, friends.
