Amazing fried egg breakfast sandwich.
Bacon, onions, cheese, and a fried egg in a warm and soft bagel.
Coffee was good. It is a cute little store. Only issue we had was we were the only ones there and ordered, then a lady with 4 kids came in and took 5 min to order. They then got their smoothies and coffee before us. And we waited probably about 20 min in total for ours. My Mom ended up walking out and I almost did as well but, I was nice enough to stay even though we already paid for the drinks. Just didn't seem right... As a tourist I would usually give that a one or two star. But I'm giving 3 because I did go there the other day and it was ok.
I can have my coffee made just the way I want it here. They have many roasts and flavors that you can add. I went with the dark roast bean, which they ground fresh for me. The service was delightful; I had a great conversation catching up the owner since I hadn’t been here since my last trip along this route.
Since I always come back for more coffee here to try her latest scone recipes, I held my breath at first when I didn’t find the shop at it former location on the corner. Someone was passing by and told me of new location. Fortunate for me, or I may have missed it not knowing it was just around the bend - a few doors away.
Other patrons were chatting at ease and enjoy breakfast sandwiches. I saw generous plates of eggs, bacon and cheese on freshly baked bagels passing by my table. Someone went back for seconds of their homemade caramel rolls.
A young gentleman was the barista. He looked like he could be a high schooler, but he certainly had a professional manner and knows how to make beverages and serve the clientele. The two running the shop at the moment were preparing for a local event but still never skipped a beat at getting to everyone order’s quickly. Clearly, the local population loves this place!
I purposely take my route to the family farm or through Nisswa to enjoy this little coffee shop. It is well worth it. I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.
Lovely place, even lovelier workers! I highly recommend their cold brew and their fresh scones!
