Newt’s Apple Valley

We had very good service. Excellent bacon and cheese burger. Great tasting cheese curds. The best adult beverages of Moscow mules. Reasonable prices during happy hour. Our second visit and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend Newt's just as good if not better than Newt's location in Rochester, MN.

Let me start off by saying, the staff is super friendly and on it!!!

Popcorn is served before you get food. Popcorn is alright - wish they had an option of that, bread or chips! Would make the introductory experience great!

Food is okay, but I wasn’t wowed by our first visit here. The peanutbutter bacon burger did not have enough peanutbutter spread around the top of the bun, which makes it taste like a regular bacon burger, overall still a good burger, just not amazing. The onion rings were good but super greasy - almost like you’re eating melted butter.

Fish was good with their tarter sauce!

French fries were not impressive or what I would classify as good. They tasted burnt and had a soggy texture - barely any salt which made them bitter. Kind of spendy for not the food.

Service is decent. Food is good, could be better. Their fried foods (cheese curds and fried pickles) were great. Burgers seem a bit bland in comparison. While the prices here are a bit high, the generous portion sizes make up for it.

This was her first time here. The food was fantastic. The wait staff was great. I strongly encourage you to check out the Philly cheese steak sandwich. The burgers are excellent as well and the portions are not small! The onion rings and tater tots were also great and you can't go wrong with either one.
