Amazing experience. The staff are beyond friendly and the food is amazing. There's something about being able to order exactly how you want a burger, and you can rest assured they will not mess up the order. You will get exactly what you order every time.
It was ok but for almost $12 it should be better. Soggy fries and the place is hot as hell (still here sweating). I won't hurry back anytime soon.
The Five Guys franchise slowly gets ground in Europe and has already almost 50 restaurants in London. This large fast food restaurant is just a few footsteps away from Piccadilly circus and is remarkable efficient. After we ordered our burger, fries and free refill soft drink, it just took a few minutes before the order was ready. You can choose about 15 toppings which makes your double patty burger completely personalised. The burger was perfect, the hand made fries were a bit too salty for me. Don't order too much fries as the portions are generous.
Burgers. Nothing fancy but not frozen. Fries. Fresh from a specific area in the states. Look at their wall to see where they come from. They also have hot dogs that are cut and bunned uniquely. Our five year old enjoyed the hot and our two year old devoured his hamburger. It's awesome that all the toppings are free. Their menu is somewhat boring compared to other companies but the simplicity is also nice in it's own way. My one suggestion to the company is that they separate their trash from their recycling.
Pretty good tasting burgers, burger stays together and doesn't fall apart. Definitely better than regular fast food. Fries are soggy-ish but I think that's just the kind they make. Shakes have been runny but flavorful. Big portions, generous fries. Just, for the love of Pete, don't order ahead via web, at least around the time of my review. They are 0 for 2 on timely orders for me, 15 minutes late both times, and got my order wrong both times. They are pricey, but I have definitely had worse for this price point. Glad to have them here, if only for somewhat better burgers and more competition for the usual mainstays.
