The Buzz Coffee & Cafe

This is my fiancé and I’s favorite local breakfast/coffee shop. I always get the honey cubano and it is the perfect drink for someone looking for a lot of flavor but not overly sweet. What really makes this place shine, however, is their waffle selection. They have dozens of different waffle varieties all with extremely clever and tasty flavor combinations. We always try a different waffle whenever we go. Our favorites have been the cranberry chicken and the cinnamon sugar bacon one (I think it’s called pigs can fly?). The prices are also very fair so it’s a no brainer to stop by for a fun breakfast on the weekends.

Got the Mexican egg bowl, banana Nutella waffles, and a butter beer nitro cold brew to drink.

The butter beer nitro cold brew was good but INCREDIBLY sweet. My girlfriend thought it was too sweet and could only drink a few sips.

The banana Nutella waffles were basically the same. Pretty good but too much Nutella.

The eggs were disappointing. The bread didn't have any butter or jam, and the eggs were overpowered by the jalapenos.

Service was ok, although they forgot our bacon and they brought out my food about 5-10 minutes before my partners, which is always awkward.

For $45 I'd definitely not come back and order any of this again.

Love supporting local cafes that aren't a franchise. Service with kindness and heart. Food is delicious. BTW this place serves Hogwarts Butter Beer for Harry Potter fans. The Buzz has vegan/vegetarian separate menu and a whole menu book just for waffles. Come check this cozy and quiet Buzz Cafe out! Won't disappoint.

This was an unexpectedly awesome find hidden in a strip mall in Burnsville! This cute Cafe has a good-sounding breakfast menu, but it's their very long list of waffles made literally dozens of different ways that stood out to me. I tried the cookie dough waffle and a "savory" waffle with bacon, jalapenos, and chocolate chips. Both waffles were sturdy, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside-- just generally well made. The cookie dough waffle is exactly as good as I hoped it would be, a real sweetness overload. The bacon/jalapeno/chocolate chips was a really tasty combination-- I wish they had used fresh jalapenos instead of pickled, but it was really good, and I'd definitely eat it again (actually I likely won't-- too many other things to try!). My friend had one of the fruit options and she really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the menu. As an FYI - They also had vegan and GF options.

Edit to add: back again to try the bacon and cheese waffle, the banana pudding waffle, and the apple crisp waffle. Bacon and cheese was good; banana pudding was excellent; apple crisp needed more of the filling but tasted great. Can't wait to go back again!

Our family visited The Buzz for the first time today and we will definitely be going back! Great coffee, amazing waffles, and a huge egg sandwich made our family very happy. My husband and I ordered different waffles and shared. There are so many more I want to try! The Vegan cheezy spinach was spectacularly crunchy and savory. Yum! Best of all, the owner and crew are friendly, fun and fast! Check this place out!
