Fireside Restaurant

We went for happy hour at about 10pm on a Saturday. The appetizers are delicious. The night we were there I couldn't get my fave (lettuce tacos) because they were only able to do fried items due to shortage in kitchen staff. We were happy with our choices of onion rings and boneless buffalo wings. Yum! It was also 2x1 adult drinks. Great place to go for happy hour...and dinner too!

We've been going here on and off since they opened. They have a great variety of menu items. Haven't been here for over a year now. Apparently it's become hit and miss after reading the reviews. We got a miss this time. First the positive...my husband loved his meatloaf and it looked good with large portions. My fish tacos, which I've had there before were not so good. As you can see from the picture they were so soggy I could hold them up, tip them, and let the "juice" just run out of them. They must have put on the cole slaw from days before and didn't attempt to drain the soggy separation off of it. By the time I got to the 3rd one there was no use trying to hold the soggy mess together and I ate just the fish. I wanted to complain, but didn't want to take the time to order something else and have it come when my husband was done eating. Prices have gone up and it was also very loud with the bar music blaring into the dining area more than I remember. The waitress was good and attentive.

The juicy Lucy wasn’t - no cheese. Service was pretty poor even though it was a slow Saturday night. But the pizza was the saving grace. Very good pizza.

The service was good. Our server was great to work with. I thought the prices were a little high, but the food was good.
