Las Tortillas Mexican Restaurant

Las Tortillas is one of the best local choices in the Rosemount area. We always seem to migrate to the fajitas. Two of us had the chicken and I tried the vegan which also includes additional vegetables and black beans.

First of all complimentary chips and salsa. Nothing fancy but they are made fresh and just a bit warm. The salsa without asking had a pretty good kick but not real hot.

The fajitas are very good here. Including some asparagus was an unexpected surprise for the vegan option. The chicken is lean, well seasoned and flavorful, no gristle so effort to trim.

All in all it is a nice place with an effort made with nice service and fresh ingredients.

The service was good. Our server was great to work with. I thought the prices were a little high, but the food was good.

I wouldn’t say this is a super authentic Mexican restaurant but the food is delicious! Everything was very flavorful. Their white cheese sauce is probably the best I’ve ever had. I ordered a chicken and cheese enchilada and my husband had their chicken chimichanga. I wasn’t a huge fan of their black beans or rice. Also took off a star because the serving sizes were not very big for the price. We did love our waitress though and the service was very quick! We will definitely be going back.

Stopped in around noon for my lunch break with a colleague. Smaller facility (which I personally love), quiet but not hidden.

Ask for the hot salsa! I'm from California and it reminded me of home. Smokey but still flavorful!

Only reason 4 for 5 stars...I would like to sample the goods more frequently before ascertaining a 5 star rating!
